The objective of using quickbird image in topographical map updating
UAV is one of the alternative ways to ease the process of acquiring data with lower operating costs, low manufacturing and operational costs, plus it is easy to operate.
Furthermore, UAV images will be integrated with Quick Bird images that are used as base maps.
The main purpose of using UAV image is as a replacement for cloud covered area which normally exists in aerial photograph and satellite image, and for updating topographic map.
Finally, and that is the most important factor, remotely sensed images of a specific site can be collected with very short revisit time.
Consequently, it is possible to quickly update the existing cartography, also in areas that were previously too remote or too dangerous to reach using conventional aerial photography.
I used to tell him in the past, “Don’t get involved, they’ll brainwash you.” It was the end of the world, so all the material things wouldn’t count.
He didn’t have a place to stay and he was a really, really good friend of mine.
