Updating windows registry daily mail article internet dating
Many of the changes are those that are applied from tools like Win Aero Tweaker, and others could have been set by group policy.
The script also runs Win Sat, backs up the registry and group policy settings, and cleans up the C:\ Drive (temp files, NVidia files left over from install etc).
Is there a way to quickly check the systems for things that may have been reset without having to manually search each PCs group policy and registry one by one, line by line?
thanks I would imagine it's possible to unload the registry into a file of some sort.
There are many deliberate (and behind the scenes) changes being made to win 10 as a service, quite frankly if you have a modern machine designed to run windows ten then leaving it alone is our preferred option.
If you have security issues and require specialist protocols for this, then yes I understand, also if you work in underprivileged sectors of society, I also understand the need for modifications. QU (commonly called cumulative updates, will change some of our settings) Feature updates will change almost all.
Create a new baseline registry Edited by Tanya C, 25 September 2018 - AM.
All of this used to take about 6 - 8 hours per PC and now it takes less than two. I will commence testing of 1809 in about a month, All going well, the production PCs will be updated in January through February 2019.At the very least if something has to be changed that cannot be changed back during at the end of update (and I really can't imagine why that would be, update should be able to take a "user settings baseline" before update and reapply it afterward) that should be noted. You will, however, run in to changes for brand new features or major revisions to the controls for existing features over time. This utility removes the need to "reinvent the wheel".EDIT: OK, it looks like the compare and generation of the reg file of changed keys is a manual interactive process.
